The Sara and Mary Edwards Paretsky Award for Creativity is a cash award of approximately $500. The recipient must be a woman student completing her junior year who has demonstrated creativity and originality in her chosen field.
Students must apply for this scholarship. A completed application consists of the following items:
1) a completed cover sheet
2) a project consisting of an example or set of examples (dependent upon the chosen field) of the student's creativity. The project may consist of works of art, slides, videotapes, CD's, poems and/or short fiction, architectural models, or other appropriate materials. Only one example or set of examples is needed; students need not make multiple copies.
3) a statement from the student describing how this project represents the student's creativity (2 copies);
4) a letter from a sponsor in support of the project;
5) a second letter of recommendation.
All of the above materials should be returned to Nunemaker Center by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2008.
