The Undergraduate Research Award (UGRA)
The award is granted twice for projects beginning or taking place during:
Period I: January 1 - June 15
Period II: June 16 - December 31
There are two award categories:
Regular Grants: up to $3,000
Small Grants: up to $1,000
DEADLINE FOR PERIOD II: 4:00 p.m. on April 1, 2008
- Students should apply for the period in which they wish to conduct their research.
- All disciplines are welcome.
- Students submit a clearly-written proposal for the research they intend to conduct.
- Students must have a faculty sponsor and one other faculty referee.
- Awardees should plan to participate in the annual Undergraduate Research Symposium.
- Applications are also available at Nunemaker Center.
